POWERGRID, the Central Transmission Utility (CTU) of the country and one of the largest and best managed Transmission Utilities in the world, invite applications from energetic and talented candidates for the posts given below:
vacancy details :
1. Diploma Trainee (Electrical) – 17 Posts
Pay-Scale – Stipend of Rs. 16,500/- per month
Qualification – Diploma in Electrical Engineering from recognised Technical Board/ Institute, with minimum 70% marks for UR/OBC(NCL) and pass marks for SC/ST/PH.
2. Diploma Trainee (Civil) – 08 posts
Pay-Scale – Stipend of Rs. 16,500/- per month
Qualification - Diploma in Civil Engineering from recognised Technical Board/ Institute, with minimum 70% marks for UR/OBC(NCL) and pass marks for ST/PH.
3. Assistant (Finance) – 08 posts
Pay-Scale – Rs.5400-10350(IDA)
Qualification – B.Com with 1st division for UR/ OBC(NCL) candidates and pass marks for ST/PH with one year relevant exp. as mentioned below Additional qualification of M.Com shall be desirable.
4. Junior Technician Trainee (Electrical) – 56 posts
Pay-Scale – Stipend of Rs. 11,000/- PM
Qualification – ITI in Electrician Trade of two years duration from recognised Institute

Interested candidates should send their application as per format available in our website www.powergridindia.com on A4 size paper with a recent photograph affixed in the right top corner along with a non refundable application fee of Rs.200/- in case of Diploma Trainee, and Rs.100/- in case of Assistant (Finance) and Jr. Technician Trainee in the from of Crossed Bank Draft favouring “POWER GRID CORPORATION OF INDIA LIMITED” payable at Nagpur. SC/ST/PH candidates are exempted from payment of application fee.

Attested copies of Caste Certificate, Educational Qualification Certificate, PH Certificate and Ex-serviceman certificate should be enclosed with application, wherever applicable.
