The SLBM ( Submarine launched ballistic missile ), is a ballistic missile capable of being launched from submarines inside the water. It was development by Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO), which was started it's service from the year of 1958 it was the major arm for the Indian defence , The New K-15 is likely to be named as Sagarika. The missile has an effective range of 3500 km, but now the k-15 has it's range of 1500 km. Only the countries US, France, Russia and China Now it's India join's the four countries.
It is a submarine-launched ballistic missile capable of being launched from the submarines like nerpa, Airihanth and many of Indian Naval Force . These vehicles each of which carries a nuclear warhead and allows a single launched missile to strike several targets. K-15 is part of the missiles which is used to target from submarines to submarines and many of underwater missiles, underwater platforms.
