The RBI is ready to launch the 10 Rs Polymer / Plastic note trail in 5 cities across country with different geographical locations and climate changes that to test the validity and density of usage of notes . The Government of India is planning to introduce one billion pieces of Rs 10 bank notes made of
plastic. The Reserve Bank of
India which is the central bank of India, who does the creation of notes and coint in monts to distribute all over the country, this introduce a bunch of one billion pieces of Rs 10 notes in polymer/plastic
on a field trial basis.
The ministry has said that the five cities will be not the metropolitan cities, the five cities will be Kochi, Mysore, Jaipur, Bhubhaneswar and Shimla which having the varied geographical
locations and climatic conditions in India. Depend on this trail it launches the remaining cities, first of all they must justify not to have any of Fake Indian Currency Notes, for this the RBI has a new agency for restricting the fake notes that causes the great damage of Indian Economy. The RBI informed that the primary objective of introduction of
polymer notes is to increase its life time compare to paper currency, it could also help in combating
counterfeiting. The History of Plastic currency was the first in world for introducing of the Plastic / polymer currency is introduced in the Australia.
