Subject : AP's New Government Medical College is Set at SPSR Nellore district AP.
The Andhra Pradesh state government has sanctioned Rs 352 crore for establishing of new government medical college which intake of 150 students at Nellore district called as ShimhaPuri. The CM Lays stone for the Inaguration of it, The Home town of Finance Minister Anam Ramnarayana Reddy has his contribution for setting a massive college in the district, which was said officially at the time of one-hour budget speech in the assembly House in 2013-14 budget for Medical and Health sector to provide afforadable quality healthcare to all citizens in the state which is the principle objective of the government, He said to strengthen the Health Service Delivery system, the Minister informed. He assured the government will continue to strengthen the implementation of Arogya Sri and 108 emergency services in the state.
The Nellore District which was famous for the country for having ISRO, longest sea belt in AP, Famous for MICA. . . The district which was set south of state closer to chennai of Tamil nadu, which were more students are offering their courses beyond the state, that's a new medical college is ready to launch. This medical college may be named as Simhapuri Medical college or Simahapuri government Medical college. The admission will be started for the year 2013. The introduced many medical courses like MBBS , BDS . . . Etc.
As Earlier the state government has sanctioned Rs. 362 crore for the Teaching Hospital and Medical College which is to come up in the sprawling premises of DSR Government Hospital spreading over 79.35 acres. Admissions will begin next year with 150 seats but enough infrastructure is being created to increase the strength to 250 per year. Mr. Ramanarayana Reddy addressed a review meeting with MLAs, officials and project consultants. It may constructed over 79 acres of land may be college located in City outcasts. The Minister said that the present TB Hospital land of 14 acres would be allotted for the new Integrated Collectorate complex.
