Now the GOI has given a new link for updating AAdhaar card by own,Any resident with a mobile number can update their profile using this official portal: https://resident.uidai.net.in/update-data . Mobile number is mandatory to receive password for login. You can update your Name, Gender, Date of Birth, Address or your Mobile Number registered in Aadhaar by the following three modes of Update.
There are four steps for updation via online:
Step 1: Login with Aadhaar Number
Step 2: Select field for update
Step 3: Fill new data for update
Step 4: Upload Documents & Submit .
While login by clicking the Update button, the page will be navigate to other page: https://ssup.uidai.gov.in/ssup-home . Residents can update Name, Address, Gender, Date of Birth and Mobile Number through this portal. For other updates, please visit Aadhaar Enrollment / Update Center. - Step 1: Enter Aadhaar Number and Captcha (Text Verification Code given there).
- Step 2: Then Enter Mobile number for OTP (One Time Password).
- Step 3: If you registered your Mobile Number, You can update directly, or Else enter Mobile number it will send OTP for that Mobile number.
- Step 4: After Entering OTP Provided to your Mobile Number . A Page Display's with
- Name, Address, Gender, Date of Birth and Mobile Number, to update.
- Step 5: First you update Mobile Number by clicking check box and submit.
- Step 6 : After Submitting the Mobile Number, you will recieve URN (Update Request Number) Number , that you can track via URN Number at the portal: https://ssup.uidai.gov.in/web/guest/check-status .
- Step 7: It takes around 10 days for update of mobile number and then after complete registration, you will recieve SMS to that Mobile Number. and then you update any of this Field.
